These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Shire Cleaning Ladies (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking a service or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Service Bookings

Customers may request services through our website, phone, or email. When making a booking, you agree to provide accurate information regarding:

  • Your name and contact details
  • Property location
  • The type and condition of the space requiring cleaning
  • Any specific requirements or instructions

Providing accurate details helps our team prepare and allocate the appropriate time for your service.

2. Minimum Booking Time

All bookings are subject to a minimum service duration of two (2) hours.

If the required work is completed in less time, the minimum service charge will still apply.

3. Estimates and Final Quotes

Any pricing provided through our website, enquiry forms, or initial communications should be considered an estimate only.

The final service quote may be adjusted after assessment by our team based on factors including:

  • Property size
  • Condition of the space
  • Level of cleaning required
  • Additional requests

Customers will be informed of the final quote before the service begins whenever possible.

4. Providing Photos for Accurate Quotes

To help us provide more accurate estimates, customers may submit photos of specific areas requiring cleaning when requesting a quote.

Photos can help our team better understand:

  • Areas needing special attention
  • Build-up of dirt or stains
  • Size and layout of the space

Providing photos is optional but recommended for faster and more accurate quoting.

5. Access to Property

Customers are responsible for ensuring our team has safe and timely access to the property at the scheduled appointment time.

If our team cannot access the property at the agreed time, this may result in:

  • Cancellation of the appointment
  • Loss of the booking deposit

6. Booking Deposit & Cancellation Policy

A non-refundable $50 booking deposit is required to secure your appointment.

This deposit will be deducted from the total service cost once the service is completed.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. This helps cover administrative and scheduling costs.

7. Payment Terms

Payment for services must be completed according to the agreed method at the time of booking or after service completion.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Bank transfer
  • On Hand (Cash)
  • Other agreed payment options

Failure to complete payment may result in service refusal for future bookings.

8. Service Limitations

While our team strives to deliver high-quality cleaning results, certain conditions may limit what can be achieved during a standard service, including:

  • Permanent stains
  • Pre-existing damage
  • Heavy mould or hazardous materials
  • Structural or maintenance-related issues

In such cases, our team will notify the customer if a task cannot be safely completed.

9. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure safe and efficient service, customers should:

  • Secure pets if necessary
  • Remove fragile or valuable items
  • Provide clear instructions for specific cleaning needs

Shire Cleaning Ladies is not responsible for damage resulting from unstable furniture, unsecured items, or pre-existing conditions.

10. Liability

Shire Cleaning Ladies takes reasonable care when providing services. However, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage or wear
  • Items not disclosed as fragile
  • Damage caused by improper installation of fixtures or furniture

If any issue occurs during service, customers should notify us as soon as possible so it can be reviewed.

11. Changes to Services

We reserve the right to modify or refuse services in situations where:

  • The environment is unsafe for our staff
  • The requested work differs significantly from the original booking details
  • Access to the property is not available

These Terms may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Updated versions will be published on this page.
